The Global Campaign 2007-2008: Act together - housing for all!

As international networks (IAI, HIC, FAL), we have launched the Global Campaign: Act together - housing for all!, started with the World Zero Evictions Days last October 2007 and which will continue until January 26th 2008, the Global Day of Mobilization called for by the World Social Forum.

This Campaign is showing an excellent opportunity for those who are fighting the battle against evictions and to promote security of housing; against privatisation and liberalization of the sector; for the development of the public housing service; against speculation and corruption and for the right to a dignified housing at fair prices.

Therefore we propose to the urban social movements and to the inhabitants associations to take advantage of the extraordinary occasion given by the world attention to the Global Day of Mobilization of January 26th 2008 in organizing / coordinating their initiatives with those of other networks in your territory.
