Video: Call for 1-minute video for Another possible world
Participate in constructing a great collective audiovisual story, sharing a 1 minute video to say that: "An other World is Possible" and necessary!
The 26th of January 2008 will be an occasion to demonstate in many different ways, colors, mobilitations, artistic performaces, direct actions, meetings, where we who recognize ourselves in the Charter of principles of the World Social Forum will make our voices heard.
The Day of Global Action called by the World Social Forum will be the apex of a week of mobilization across the planet.
Since Seattle in '99, in Porto Alegre, Genoa, Cancun, Mumbai, Nairobi, and many other places on Earth, we learn of other narratives of what we want to be possible, and that the right to communication is also a right of liberty.
For January 26, 2008, we launch this call to at the artists, musicians, film makers and video producers, media activists and telestreets, professionals from webTV, communication and information and all persons that would like to participate on this day of world media action.
Help to make a large collective audiovisual history of the Global week of Mobilization and Action of January 2008, producing and sharing short videos, of up to one minute, and for free reproduction to say that Another World is Possible?
This audiovisual mobilization is to have its first major showing on the Day of Global Action. In January this showing will be the entry door to a gigantic virtual public plaza. Use tools of the site and open or free spaces that the internet offers to publish or search for videos produced for the global journal that are also able to be recorded and taken to places and people who do not have access to the net.
January 26, 2008 will be the construction of a worldwide network -- an informative one that for a day shall be on the center of the stage.
Let's try to inter-communicate from al parts of the Earth and affirm that "Another world is possible"!
